Medical Weight Loss
Weight changes for a lot of reasons. Hormones, sleep, stress, medications, genetics and the stage of life you’re in all play a part. GLP-1 medications can help many people, and they work best when someone is paying attention to the whole picture, not just the scale.
At Inclusive Aesthetics, medical weight management is led by Grace Grymes Chapman, DNP. Every plan starts with your health history and labs, and you’re back in the clinic every month for a real check-in.

What treatments do you offer?
GLP-1 medications, including semaglutide and tirzepatide
Weekly injections or a daily pill, depending on what fits your health and routine
Lab work and a review of your history before you start
Monthly in-person follow-up visits
GLP-1 care alongside hormone replacement therapy for perimenopause and menopause
How does it work?
GLP-1 medications mimic a hormone your body already makes after you eat. They help you feel full sooner, stay satisfied longer and slow how quickly your stomach empties. Tirzepatide also acts on a second hormone called GIP. For many people, the result is quieter food noise and an easier time eating in a way that supports their goals.
Which medication and which form you start with depends on your history, your concerns and your workup. There isn’t one right answer for everyone, and we’ll explain why we’re recommending what we are.
What to expect
Your consultation. We review your health history, current medications, goals and any past experience with weight medications.
Labs. If you’ve had labs drawn in the last 4 to 6 months, have them sent to us. We’ll review them and recheck a couple of months after you start. If you haven’t, we’ll order a panel that includes A1C, a comprehensive metabolic panel, thyroid testing and others based on your history.
Starting your medication. Your medication can come from the clinic or be sent to a pharmacy, depending on whether you plan to use insurance.
Monthly follow-ups. Every month you’ll come in for vitals and a weight check. We’ll talk about what you’re eating, how you’re moving, side effects, sleep and any hair changes, and adjust your plan from there.

GLP-1s and hormone therapy together
Perimenopause and menopause can change where your body stores weight, how you sleep and how hungry you feel. Hormone replacement therapy isn’t a weight loss treatment, but for many women it’s part of feeling like themselves again. If you’re interested in both, we can talk through GLP-1 care and hormone replacement therapy at the same consultation and build one plan.
Is GLP-1 care right for you?
GLP-1 medications are prescription medications, and they aren’t right for everyone. They aren’t used during pregnancy or while trying to get pregnant, and they aren’t prescribed to people with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2. The most common side effects are nausea, constipation and other stomach upset, especially when a dose changes. Your consultation is where we decide together whether it’s a good fit.
